What to expect

Aviano Baptist Church is an English-speaking, Bible-believing body of Christians who gather together each week to worship Christ and make His name known in the Aviano area.  ABC began in 1974 with the primary mission to minister to the US military and still today are made up primarily of families stationed at Aviano AB.  However, as the Lord has blessed and grown this ministry, we now also enjoy the fellowship of several local families and others from around the world.

Jared Fitzpatrick

Pastor

Jared was called to Aviano Baptist Church as the pastor in April 2025. He and his family served internationally for six years in Central Asia and Belgium before returning to the US to serve persecuted believers around the world. Jared has an MTS degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (now Gateway Seminary). Jared and his wife Jennifer have four children.

What we believe

As a church, we affirm that the Holy Bible, all 66 books, are the only sufficient, inerrant, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience. The Church subscribes to the doctrinal statements of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. ABC holds a commitment to the Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and the Chalcedonian Definition.
