Aviano Baptist Church is a confessional, elder-led, and congregational-ruled body. We are a community of believers worshiping the King of kings and seeking the good of our city where God has placed us.
We believe that the church is the pillar and buttress of the truth, and we strive to make sure that every man, woman, and child in our care is equipped with the Word of God for life and mission.
How We Live
Exalting the Triune God
We gather to offer acceptable worship to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, recognizing God’s supreme authority over all creation. Our aim is to honor the Triune God through the proper teaching of His Word and the faithful administration of the ordinances.
Equipping His People
The church serves as a training ground where the saints are armed with sound doctrine to lead their households and serve the body. Through deep theological instruction, we build up the flock to stand firm in the faith and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Engaging a Lost World
We are a pilgrim people called to proclaim the gospel of Christ Jesus to our local community and the nations. By living as a faithful witness in a fallen world, we seek to evangelize the lost and fulfill the Great Commission wherever the Lord directs us.
